Robin Rimbaud aka Scanner came over for a three day residency at Het Concreet. This residency was also part of our radio marathon on November 18: Radio Concrète. During this marathon Scanner performed a impressive live set, using the Elektor Formant, Lore Mill Keyed Mosstone and Make Noise Strega synths and a Tascam 8-Track reel-to-reel tape recorder. Robin resampled his old cassettes from the 1980s, introducing a dark and intense industrial vibe to the proceedings. This live set was recorded and later edited by Scanner, for us to enjoy. Welcome to this sonically industrial, computer free zone.
