For students and recent graduates of conservatories and art academies in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Het Concreet invites students and recent graduates to submit a proposal for the development of a new composition that explores the boundaries of analog electronic music.Β We are looking for innovative ideas that arise from working with tape and analog electronics β without digital tools.
The selected artist will have the opportunity to realize the work in Het Concreet's studio in Tilburg, with artistic guidance, use of tape machines, available instruments, and production support.Β The new piece will be presented during performances at several festivals in the southern Netherlands, in collaboration with De Link (Tilburg) and Intro In Situ (Maastricht).

Think about what it means to work in a completely analog studio and how this will influence your musical concept and working methods. Participants are free to bring in additional musicians, but the practical and financial frameworks will remain the same.
