Radio Concrète explores radio as a field for experiment and play: a set of ideas and discoveries that incites us to broadcast ‘on air’. After its creation in 1895, radio rapidly became an institute but to this day remains open for DIY culture and accessible community creation. During a 12-hour marathon, hosted from experimental lab space Het Concreet, we celebrate radio as an arena for play. We reflect on & listen to historical and contemporary radio art performances, and listen to the sonic development of the live creation of a circuit.
