Roberto Pistolesi is a drummer/performer/composer born in Italy and living in the Netherlands. After having navigated for years through many musical genres, Roberto shifted towards jazz, and he quickly became one of the most representative drummers of the new breed of Italian modern and traditional jazz. Since then, he played and recorded with a huge number of national and international artists, such as Steve Grossman, Dave Liebman, Rick Margitza, Paolo Fresu, Dario Deidda, David Binney (among others), and has been a regular band member of the world-acclaimed saxophonists Stefano Di Battista and Francesco Cafiso.
